About this mat

The evil eye is known to protect you from negative energy when worn or placed around your home as decoration. However, when interpreted from a spiritual perspective, a deeper understanding of the symbolism arises.
The all seeing eye, our third eye or pineal gland is always connected to source/creator. It sees the bigger picture, the greater purpose and thus always guides you towards a higher or evolved version of you. The energy of 'Awake' is that of an eagle and protector but is simultaneously connected to inner intuition and knowing.

May this mat guide you towards your wholesome truth, awaken you to different perspectives and allow you to see yourself from your 3rd eye. Your beliefs are the foundation of how you see yourself and therefore once you 'SEE' your true self, you can never unsee your own beauty, grace and light.  

My awakening experience during my Yin yoga teacher training inspired this design. Through my inner eye, I was able to see memories, colors and connections my physical eyes could only dream of. I saw the limitless being I am, only to realize my inner world IS indeed a fragment of the boundary-less universe. 

Mat details

Awake is a vegan suede (microfiber) mat  with natural rubber bottom and performs best with sweaty palms and feet.
The more you sweat the grippier she will become. Alternatively, splash or spray a little water on your mat before your practice to secure your grip. A hot or sweaty yoga/ exercise class will bring the best out of her.
To maintain your mat's longevity wipe her down with natural cleaners only and wash cold with mild soap when needed in the washing machine. Air dry only.
