About this mat

The majestic Lotus flower is symbolic for purity, strength and rebirth. This graceful flower has the ability to grow through mud and bloom right on the water's surface.
The cycle of being reborn is not limited to physical birth and death- it goes beyond and within. Every morning is a mini rebirth. Every healing 'aha' moment is your resurrection. May she inspire your path towards spirituality and enlightenment with ease and grace. Her seeds are burrowed on the bottoms of your feet, growing up your spine where the beautiful lotus flower sits on the top of your crown.

I had never seen a more graceful and beautiful flower in my life before! It was 2014 in Thailand during my Yoga teacher training when I noticed  one specific lotus in front of my friend's hut. I would observe her opening and closing, depending on the sun's location in the sky. I was deeply fascinated by her undeniable beauty and grace.
She was merely a symbol, a reminder from the universe, that every re-birth is a unique journey that would ask of its birther to bloom at its own time.

Mat details

Rebirth is a vegan suede (microfiber) mat  with natural rubber bottom and performs best with sweaty palms and feet, the more you sweat the grippier she will become.  Alternatively, splash or spray a little water on your mat before your practice to secure your grip. A hot or sweaty yoga/ exercise class will bring the best out of her. To maintain your mat's longevity wipe her down with natural cleaners only and wash cold with mild soap when needed in the washing machine. Air dry only.
