Jade

About this mat

This beautiful, eye-catching emerald green mat is inspired by my first born daughter, whose middle name is Jade. As a first time mother, I was oblivious to the life changes that awaited me. Amidst all the uncertainty motherhood brought with it, one thing was certain. I innately knew that my daughter's aura was green.

The magnolia flower is symbol for motherhood, as her scent is reminiscent of a mother's unconditional love and tight hugs.

Although poppy flowers are usually red, I chose white as it symbolizes  purity.
The room in which I delivered Miss Jade (that is one of her nicknames) had red poppy flowers painted on the and as serendipity would have it, it is also the birth flower for the month of August, the month she came earth side.

Mat details

Jade is a vegan suede (microfiber) mat  with natural rubber bottom and performs best with sweaty palms and feet.
The more you sweat the grippier she will become.  Alternatively, splash or spray a little water on your mat before your practice to secure your grip. A hot or sweaty yoga/ exercise class will bring the best out of her. To maintain your mat's longevity wipe her down with natural cleaners only and wash cold with mild soap when needed in the washing machine. Air dry only.
