About this mat

This stunning, proud flamingo mama standing on one leg is a metaphor for all the mamas balancing family, work and everything else that happens in life. Did you know that flamingos lose their pink after having their chicks? It takes them years to turn pink again. Just like us humans, they instinctively prioritize their babies over themselves.

I vividly remember my first experience as a new mom and how overjoyed and overwhelmed I felt at the same time. The journey transformed me from within and if there is one thing that I have learned from this rollercoaster called motherhood, then it is that IT TAKES TIME to get your pink back and that it's ok to evolve at your own pace.

Mat details

Mama is a vegan suede (microfiber) mat  with natural rubber bottom and performs best with sweaty palms and feet.
The more you sweat the grippier she will become. Alternatively, splash or spray a little water on your mat before your practice to secure your grip. A hot or sweaty yoga/ exercise class will bring the best out of her.

To maintain your mat's longevity wipe her down with natural cleaners only and wash cold with mild soap when needed in the washing machine. Air dry only.
