Nirvaan

About this mat

Nirvaan is the eternal liberation of karma, the release of endless cycles and ultimately the perfect balance of yin and yang. This mat embodies both, the harmonious masculine and feminine energy that flow through our energy centers (chakras). 

This powerful design was inspired by my journey through grief and joy in 2020 when the world was shook and we all felt it in one way or the other. After my father transitioned in early 2020, I welcomed my son the same year. This experience of feeling opposite emotions led me to deep inner father- wound healing. 
One of my take aways from this is that death and birth not only are transformative events for the body and soul but also for the ego. 

Mat details

Nirvaan is a vegan suede (microfiber) mat  with natural rubber bottom and performs best with sweaty palms and feet.
The more you sweat the grippier she will become. Alternatively, splash or spray a little water on your mat before your practice to secure your grip. A hot or sweaty yoga/ exercise class will bring the best out of her.

To maintain your mat's longevity wipe her down with natural cleaners only and wash cold with mild soap when needed in the washing machine. Air dry only.
